Calling All Parents of 11th Grade Youth

Its time to get ready for the graduation of our senior high youth. On June 6th we will have our Graduation Recognition Service & Luncheon when we celebrate both the youth and their parents' hardwork and determination to make it to this new chapter in life. I would welcome your help in shaping this special day for them. Email me at mmims@fbc.h.org your interest in helping plan and implement both the grad service and luncheon. Remember - your youth will be on that plank next year!

A Valentine to Everyone!

The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will He harbor His anger forever; He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His love for those who fear Him. (from Psalm 103:8-11, NIV)

IMPORTANT INFO FOR THIS SUNDAY!

OVC is singing "At the Table of the Lord" this Sunday for 9:00 and 10:30 worship. Practice is at 8:10am (sanctuary). This is a familar song, so don't worry about not having practice last week. All OVC folks need to be at the church at 8:10 promptly! Also you will need to leave your Bible studies by 11:15am to close out the second service in song. (Bible Study Leaders---help make this transition for them a smooth one...thanks!)

Since this Sunday is Superbowl, our OVC practice is 5-6:00. You will have plenty of time to get to your parties before kick-off. The handbell schedules are Handbells I: 4-4:50pm (Ed 306) & Advanced Youth HB: 4-5pm (S201)

ALSO....

Don't forget the Super Early Bird Special for signing up for the D.Now Weekend by this Sunday!
