Breakfast, Joint Bible Study, Communion & Baptism this Sunday!

JUST A REMINDER! We plan to have breakfast & Bible study together this Sunday at 9:30am in the gym at FBCH. We will eat about the first 30 mins, & Ron Price will lead a large group Bible study from 10:00-10:30. This means that no other adult, children’s, or youth Bible studies will meet on Sunday. So far we have 225 people signed up for breakfast & Bible study! Worship begins at 10:45am in the sanctuary. The Latino and Northlake congregations will join us as we celebrate Communion and Baptism. This is going to be a KICKIN day in the Lord! Hope to see you Sunday!

ATTENTION YOUTH: Here are the AUG.10-16 YOUTH ACTIVITIES

*Aug. 10 - MISSION MONDAY (4:00-5:30 pm)
Aug. 11 - HangTime (11:45 am) at Chicos Mexican Grill (102 N. Statesville Rd, Huntersville)
*Aug. 12 - MIDWEEK (4:00-7:00 pm) at Mashburn's Home (12309 McCord Rd, Huntersville); This is a swimming pool & messy game fellowship! Bring old clothes to wear over swimsuit for messy games, towel & change of clothes. Rising 6 graders are welcome & encouraged to come!!
Aug. 15 - Breakfast Ministry (7:30 am) at church dining hall
Aug. 16 - Bible Study (9:30 am); Worship (10:45 am)

ACTIVITY SCHEDULE

SUNDAYS: Students will have the option of going to an 8:45 am Worship Service (Discipleship Auditorium) which is more contemporary in style or 11:15 am Worship Service (Sanctuary) which is more traditional in style. Immediately following the early service in the auditorium students have their SMC (Sunday Morning Celebration) where they share in music & activities before heading to their Bible Studies at 10:20 am. The Bible study materials come from the online materials "faithelement.net" that go along with the adult study in the Baptists Today News Journal.

WEDNESDAYS: Students have a chance to connect while hanging out in the youth room upstairs in the Discipleship Center from 6:00-6:30pm during the HUDDLE. They then breakout in the SMALL GROUP (middle school boys, middle school girls, middle school boys, high school boys) for a time of deeper connection and accountability.

Students interested in participating in the Youth Worship Band or the Audio/Visual Crew should contact Marcus at the church office (mmims@fbc-h.org) for more information. Most Wednesdays they practice from 7:30-8:30pm in the DC Auditorium.
